VP Product & New Business, Europe
Pedro Bandeira has over 20 years of experience in TV and Broadband in the Telco and Cable industries. Pedro has also been running software development programs in the Telecommunications industry for TV and Broadband for over 15 years. He is a fan of innovations and creativity, always pushing the barrier on what can be done.
Pedro is currently working on the next generation on TV and Broadband products for DT, very focused on customer centric experiences, leveraging innovations, new technologies and convergency of services. The vision is all content, everywhere, with full control by the customer and always expanding the experience to new products (like smartHome) and new customer touchpoints (like voice). Pedro is currently VP of Product and new business for DT Europe, pushing fixed services transformation across different markets in Europe.
Head of Technology
Rob, a 25 year cable TV industry veteran, is head of technology at RDK where he helps drive the industry’s first standardized software that provides a common framework for powering customer-premises equipment for multichannel video programming distributors. Rob oversees all technical activities.
Rob joined the cable TV industry as a software engineer on Time Warner Cable’s pioneering Full Service Network video on demand trial, which was “the first in the world to integrate emerging cable, computer, and telephone technologies over a fiber-optic and coaxial cable network.” After Time Warner Cable, he worked for Liberate and SeaChange International, industry leading set-top middleware and video on demand providers. Prior to the cable TV industry, Rob was a System Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin where he developed device drivers and board support packages for embedded systems.
VP Business Development
Xavier Leclercq is Vice President of Business Development at Broadpeak. In his role he drives business development strategy to further consolidate the company’s position as a leading provider of video delivery technologies.
Prior to joining Broadpeak, Xavier was a Director of IP video at Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent, where he led teams in consulting and business development for six years. Overall, he has more than 15 years of international experience in the IP video industry, with expertise in consulting and selling technology to content owners and network operators across the globe.
Xavier graduated from Institut Mines Telecom Lille-Douai (formerly Telecom Lille) engineering school, and holds a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Lille.
Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Dominique Feral, cofounder and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Wyplay, has over 25 years of experience in the digital television industry. He works in close relation with TV operators to help them manage their projects and reach the best user experience.
Dominique is a creative person with a passion for technology. At Orange, he held several positions in Product Marketing and participated in 1997 in the launch of the first satellite Internet offers. In 2001, he joined the start-up Neotion as Marketing Director where he defined new generations of hybrid TV set-top boxes. Together with 3 other co-founders, he created Wyplay in 2006 aiming to deliver creative and intuitive “super aggregation” software solutions.
General Manager / Moderator
Andy’s Munich/Germany-based company is connecting Thought leaders, Game changers and Innovators and supports Top Tier companies in strategic topics such as business development, go-to-market strategy and vendor selection.
Andy himself also acts as keynote speaker and moderator for customer events like e.g. for Vodafone or Technicolor and is producing the “Connecting the Dots” interview series featuring Senior Execs of the Telco & Media industry where he spent the last 20 years at companies like Sky and Samsung.
Andy has been the founder and active player of an improv theatre group for 8 years.
He holds a diploma in Physics, a diploma in Business Administration and has been a visiting fellow at MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge/MA and Harvard Business School, Boston/MA.
