Pay TV providers are making even more use of OTT video, whether integrating SVOD services like Netflix into their STB offer, offering 4K VOD, streaming entire satellite bouquets via the Internet into terrestrial homes using DTT/OTT set-top boxes, extending satellite services into telco broadband homes that cannot install dishes, or even providing redundancy for satellite rain-fade.
